Things from Grandma

Almost every time I see my Grandma she has something old and fun to give me, she knows I like that kind of stuff. Sometimes it's old pictures (my fave), or jewelry, or a fun tiny trinket for Hamilton. In fact, the delicate little heart-shaped gold leaf on my wedding bouquet was my Grandmas. It may look like an ordinary... well actually I don't know what it looks like... but would you ever guess that THIS is what it is??? Is this not the most perfect little jewelry organizer there ever was? I almost booked a vacation on the spot just so I'd have an excuse to throw this in a suitcase. It's so perfect, everything has a spot, a MIRROR, hard shell, floral! I die.

Don't judge me that almost all of my earrings are missing the backs. So what if I DO only have 2 backs that I switch out for every pair of earrings? Anyway when I saw it I immediately knew it could double as a clutch. My husband and mother laughed at me and didn't think I'd do it, oh how they doubted me. But look! Here I am at a friends wedding last weekend rocking the jewelry organizer disguised as a clutch. (if it makes you feel better the jewelry organizing tray totally comes out and pops right back in)

You may not think that this is the coolest thing on the planet but hey, any clutch that has a built in mirror and any jewelry organizer that has that cute of fabric is priceless in my book. It also helps that its from my Grandma, who I love so very dearly.
