Living Room Inspiration Board

This is what you get when you mix a graphic designer with an interior designer... very nerdy, detailed and accurate inspiration boards combining the use of Photoshop & Illustrator. Sorry I'm not sorry : )

Here's our inspiration board for our living room! We're going with a (loose) color scheme of grey, yellow, black & white. The thing I love about this inspiration board is that the majority of all the stuff is stuff we already own! I literally took pictures I had and cropped them so we could see the vision with the actual pieces we already have... told ya, super nerdy.

Here's our list of "dones" for the space:
  1. Grey couch... check!
  2. Table & chairs... check!
  3. Deer head painted white... check!
  4. Low credenza for TV... check!
  5. Get TV... check! (and it's a beauty)
  6. Spray paint that chair white... check!
  7. Get another chair and paint white (not pictured)... check!
  8. Live Well sign... check!
  9. Get chandelier... check!
And here's our list of to-do's/to-gets:
  1. Get throw pillows (on Christmas list)
  2. Re-upholster chairs
  3. Paint chandelier yellow and hang
  4. Paint our big framed portrait white
  5. Get more collage items for over the couch (?)
  6. Think of centerpiece for table and purchase/make
Oh the benefits of having a long engagement. For the past year we've been able to collect and gather various pieces of furniture and decor that we wanted for our home. We have been able to wait and spend time finding exactly what we wanted, and exactly what has worked for our budget. Literally every piece in our home will be Craigslisted, thrifted, given to us, free, made etc. and it is all exactly what we want/need. We have not had to settle on anything and feel so SO blessed to love every piece going in our home. Stay tuned to see how we turn this vision into a reality! (it's already a tad bit underway)
